QUESTION:

“Why are real estate commissions so high?”

ANSWER:

”Because brokers set them high and many consumers choose to pay them.”

SOLUTION:

“Call me, a broker who delivers proven results for half the cost, or less!”

After 20 years serving Southwest Florida’s real estate market I still find it strange people will spend tens of thousands, if not hundreds of thousands of dollars, to buy and sell real estate here. It makes no sense. I have seen the highs and lows, the hurricanes, the crash, and everything in between. And no one has ever been able to honestly justify the commissions most brokers charge for their services, the exact same services I provide, and for much less. Now I know not everyone has to keep an eye on their money, but the wealthiest people I know still watch where their money goes and love to save when they can.

I run my company different than most. First, I am the broker and owner of the company, my name is on the door, and I am the one working directly for you. There are no sales agents. You are paying for the experience and proven results that I acquired over the last twenty years. Second, my company is not churning large numbers of properties through our office. We know every client by name and they know us. Many of our clients have been friends for many, many years. We would never have two properties competing for the same buyer. Nor would we ever have more than one buyer competing for the same property. The third difference, the one most people really find gets their attention, our commissions are half or less of the other companies in our market. Which is why everything we share, online or in our advertising, proudly has our commissions structure..

I suggest everyone should interview at least three companies before choosing someone to represent you in a real estate transaction. It will be time well spent and you will be so much more informed after the process. Every company has different rules, commissions, and fees. You deserve to know how the process will work and what will be done for the money you will be asked to pay. We are very open about all of our commissions and processes in how we represent our clients.

Our downward market is challenging to sellers and buyers for different reasons. Most current Realtors do not have experience with these conditions. I was a broker during the crash of 2008. I remember all too well the losses experienced by so many families in Southwest Florida. Foreclosures and short sales, bankruptcies and divorces, most everyone had a story to tell. I hope that the current downturn will level out long before we see those types of consequences. But many are going to have losses moving forward. If possible, we can minimize those losses with the programs we offer.

In a world filled with virtual this and that, and people who cannot speak while looking you in the eye, I offer a relationship built on the old principles of hand shakes, solid commitments, and keeping your word when it is given. If you want the advantage of new technologies backed by traditional business values, my company may just be the solution.

We provide full real estate representation to clients in Lee and Collier counties, within our Florida Gulf Coast MLS. The main communities of Bonita Springs, Cape Coral, Estero, Fort Myers, Fort Myers Beach, Naples, and Sanibel Island.

Our best days are the ones where we meet new friends, create a plan to give them the best representation, and provide solid results. If you are curious, give us a call, text, email, or we can video chat. We can have a discussion on your goals and how we can help you achieve them.
